This is the second year Aid Africa’s Children has participated as a United Methodist International Advance Project/Ministry at the June 15-16, 2019 annual conference in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Aid Africa’s Children’s approval to join the the United Methodist International Advance Project/Ministry within their Rainbow Covenant allows them to participate and receive aid on many projects local and global.

The weekend provided networking opportunities and brainstorming with other local and international mission outreach centers serving South America, Central Asia and Africa. Many persons visited our Aid Africa’s Children exhibit to learn about our positive impact in Tanzania, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi and Nigeria over the last 13 years.

Donations for African merchandise were collected for Aid Africa’s Children’s Project Boat Engine. These funds helped buy a much needed boat engine for Brother Gasper's (of Benedictine Holy Spirit Abbey in Mvimwa, Tanzania) transport boat which villagers living in remote villages in South Lake Tanganyika rely on to access necessary food markets, clothing and medical treatment.

Brother Gasper was Aid Africa’s Children's main contact on the successful Rainwater Collection Project at the St. Placidus Mvimwa Primary School in Mvimwa, Tanzania. Currently, this project is completed and sustainable bringing water to over 3,500 locals in the surrounding area.
