Creche Kitchen In Danger of Collapsing

Sophie’s Creche Kitchen Video Transcript

This here is the kitchen. Up there you can keep the sun outside, this is where we keep our water, and this is what the floor looks like.

This here is the stove, because of so much rain, the door is stuck, we have to pull it when we open the school, to get it open.

This kitchen in it’s state is is very, very, very serious and concerning. I asked one of the Soul Sparkles to put up a steel pipe to hold the roof because the roof was caving in. The roof pole is completely finished because of the water that comes in, so we are using the 2 poles, this one is the old one and see the bottom, and this is the steel roof we put up last month, just to keep the roof up from caving in, I am very worried that the roof will cave in on us while we are cooking.

This is the window, it is broken and this is how it is on the floor. I have the refrigerator on rocks from drowning in water.

This is where we keep our food, this is how the floor is, this is where you get out, this is the door where you get out.

A steel pole supports a weak kitchen ceiling from collapsing. Rocks are placed under the refrigerator to protect it from flooding.

These are some of the challenging issues Sophie’s Creche Kitchen faces.
