Students Ignore Leaky Ceilings and Broken Windows

Sophie opened her Creche over 20 years ago. The conditions at the creche have known better times. Water seeps thru the ceilings when it rains. Broken windows and broken glass don’t give students much protection either. Despite the cracked floors and lack of modern conveniences, Sophie’s Creche continues to take in students to prepare them for grade school.

With limited resources, Sophie's love and commitment to help the community of Lethabong is endless. Upon entering grade school, many of Sophie’s students perform better in grade school than the average student.

This is the big class. In the big class the water seeps thru the ceiling, it shows there, and then the other problems is the broken windows and the broken glasses in the windows, and the floor.

On the floor, I suggest that we put tiles on and cut the sides, so the children can sit on the carpets to keep warm during winter and sit on the tiles during the summer. If there was anything to leave out and taken care later, it would be this class.
