How Sophie’s Creche Encourages Children’s Creativity
With very limited resources, Betty, a teacher at Sophie’s Creche encourages new ways to engage toddlers' interests and creativity. She is also one of the teacher’s who just started her teaching certification classes which were paid by Aid Africa’s Children generous donors.
You can do wonders with colored paper and scissors. Through this process the kids are creating a parrot with each of their hand prints while learning their colors. Betty and her students explore how their handprints can transform into a magical parrot.
Creating art together becomes a collaborative and social experience that encourages team work and develops social skills in the classroom.
