Behind the Scenes of Easter Magic!

Each celebration at Sophie’s Creche involves a lot of preparation and thought by Sophie. She is the vision and the force behind how the Creche teaches and treats their students. Each Creche may celebrate the holiday in a different way. At Creche graduation ceremonies Creches have an opportunity to really display their creativity and uniqueness.

What people don’t realize is that Sophie spends a lot of time dreaming up celebration ideas she can execute on a very tight budget. There is no curriculum guide to follow about how to do something fun for her students so they can experience the holidays.

Here the white paper plates are painted red, green, and blue. The chicken’s nest is shredded paper. The colorful chicken is cut individually. Everything presented is made from inexpensive objects. Sophie transforms ordinary items into something magical for the kids to have a sweet memory of Easter.  

In the "chicken nest," Sophie surprises the kids with Easter candy.
