What do children learn at Sophie’s Creche?

Meet Lubanzi Wich, she is a five-year-old color specialist at Sophie’s Creche. Her name means “peaceful.” She can identify all the crayon colors easily.

Identifying colors not only increases children’s vocabulary but is useful for object recognition and developing categories. Learning colors also helps children develop STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills where they learn to match, recognize, and create patterns. Knowing your colors facilitates focusing skills and helps children recognize differences more easily.
