Meet Tomorrow’s Community Helpers
Even though the pre-schoolers may not understand what career planning is, Sophie identifies people they already recognize. A doctor helps sick people. A nurse cares for people. A policeman keeps people safe. They are people who provide vital support to a village. Sophie calls them “Community Helpers."
Career Day helps students identify the “Community Helpers" in their village and emphasizes how an education helps people acquire skills to do their jobs well.
