Pennies For Mission

Pastor Sean DelGrosso (left) of Salem United Methodist Church of Salem, Wisconsin and Debbie Gilliam (right), Vice President of Community Affairs at Aid Africa’s Children raise funds for a worthy cause. 

The Salem United Methodist Church of Salem, Wisconsin lent a helping hand to help Aid Africa’s Children.. They dedicated their monthly “Pennies for Mission” collection to the Soul Sparkles group, a support group for AIDS orphans, Sophie’s Creche founded.  Aid Africa’s Children are long time Soul Sparkle supporters. Their donation of $320.00 was used to honor the passing of Lucky, one of the Soul Sparkles' original and  beloved leaders.

Pastor Sean DelGrosso of Salem United Methodist Church shared a video to members from the Soul Sparkles featuring a heartfelt gratitude and thank you to them.

Without this donation many of the children would have nothing for Christmas. The food made the holidays extra special knowing someone remembered and cared for them. The congregation was very moved by their powerful testimonials of deeply sincere appreciation.
