The Wait is Over

It’s a very exciting day at Sophie’s Creche!

The beautiful royal blue shade netting has been installed!  It's transforming the outdoor classroom/play area into a cool welcoming space where children can learn, play, sing, and enjoy time together.

As Sophie proudly shows the completed projected, her excitement reflected what this new addition means for the children. No longer will they have to search for the small patches of shade beside the building. They now have a spacious, shaded  area designed especially for them.

This project is more than a new structure, it is an investment in the children’s comfort, health, and daily learning. Laundre and her team from Shadeport Systems completed the project. Shadeport Systems is one of the "biggest and oldest manufacturers, suppliers, and builders of shade ports” in South Africa. It will be a relief from the hot African sun while creating a safe and inviting outdoor classroom and play area for years to come.
