They’re Beautiful, Shiny, and New!

Toddlers at Sophie’s Creche enjoy their first meal on new plates that meet new government’s health standards. All creches (nursery schools) have been told to eliminate cancer causing plastic dishes and utensils.

These plates and bowls were a generous donation from Chicago’s Pastor Ron Ellis and his wife, Bonnie of the New Christian Life House of Prayer and their congregation.

Sophie is unable to replace the plastic spoons she still uses at the creche due to store  inventory problems.  In the meantime, it’s one step at a time in the right direction.  We’re very grateful for the kindness and generosity of others.
